Two temples on New Hope Drive
Our grounds hold both the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple and the Sri Venkateswara Temple, so a single visit can carry you from Baba's Dwarkamai to Lord Balaji's sannidhi.
- Sai Baba Temple — open 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM daily, until 9:00 PM on Thursdays.
- Sri Venkateswara Temple — mornings and evenings on weekdays, all day on weekends.
- Shared facilities — community hall, kitchen and Annadanam service for both temples.

Thursday is Baba's day. Both Thursdays and Sundays bring the fullest schedule of the week, and everyone is welcome to sit in.
Vishnu Sahasranama
The thousand names of Vishnu, chanted together. Books are provided — no prior practice needed to join.
Sai Baba Abhishekam
The ceremonial bathing of Baba's murti with water, milk and honey, followed by alankaram and archana.
Pallaki Seva
Baba's palanquin procession on Thursday evening, carried through the temple with bhajans and lamps.
Bhajans
Devotional singing led by our volunteers. Singers and instrumentalists of every level are invited to take part.
Ganapati Abhishekam
Offered before all new beginnings — the removal of obstacles for the week ahead.
Thursday Annadanam
A free hot meal served to all who come. Sponsoring a Thursday is one of the most direct sevas at this temple.

Annadanam — the gift of food — is served every Thursday and at every festival, free to anyone who walks in. Your sponsorship also supports our charity work feeding those without homes in Williamson and Travis County.

Classes for children and adults
A temple is also a school. Our teachers are volunteers from the Austin community, and most classes are offered free or at cost.

Before you come
Common questions
Do I need to book anything to visit?
No. The temple is open to all during posted hours and darshan is always free. Booking is only needed for a personal pooja, a priest's time, or the community hall.
What should I wear?
Modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Traditional Indian dress is common but not expected. Shoes are removed at the entrance — there are racks provided.
Can I bring my children?
Please do. Children are part of temple life here, and Bala Vikas classes are built for them. There is space at the back for families who need to move around.
I've never been to a Hindu temple. Is that alright?
Completely. Come in, sit quietly at the back if you prefer, and watch. Volunteers at the entrance are happy to explain what is happening and what to do with prasadam.
How do I request a pooja at my home?
Submit a Pooja Services Request and the temple office will match you with a priest and confirm timing and dakshina. Start on the Priest Services page.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. The temple is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. A receipt is issued for every contribution.
